India’s quantity of exports has not gone down: Sitharaman

New Delhi, May 30 (KNN) Minister of State for Industry & Commerce Nirmala Sitharaman today said that quantity of exports has not gone down in but due to currency fluctuation value realisation has come down.

She was addressing a press conference here on completion of two years of NDA Government.

She said that exports of all countries are going down in terms of value.

“I can say that quantity of exports has not gone down in India, but due to currency fluctuation, value realisation has come down,” Sitharaman said.

Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) Secretary Ramesh Abhishek said that Government is going to form a National Industrial Corridor Development Authority (NICDA) for which the department is going to cabinet soon.  (Watch Full Video)
