KASSIA-RBI conducts awareness program on banking and finance for MSMEs

New Delhi, Oct 10 (KNN) Eyeing to facilitate the knowledge pertaining to finance and banking among the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) of the region, the Karnataka Small Scale Industries Association recently conducted an awareness program.

The program was carried out in association with the Reserve Bank of India.

KASSIA in a press release informed that the prime aim of the program was to enable the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises increase their financial capability.

KASSIA said that it is often a concern when it comes to the MSMEs; they aren’t as capable as compared to the larger units, who have deployed dedicated professionals for the same.

Since in case of an MSME, it is more of a one man run unit, it is important for the sector to be equipped with the knowledge relating to both banking and finance,. Considering this, kASSIA and RBI jointly conducted this program.

From Reserve Bank of India, Eugene E.Karthak, Regional Director, Sanjeeva Singha, General Manager, N.Jayanthi, Dy. General  Manager, N.Nagaraj, General Manager and Srikanth, Dy.General Manager of the SIDBI were a part of the event.

Also other officials from the office and different MSME units were present during the program.  (KNN/DA)
