Maharashtra Bank ATMs may be out of service

Mumbai, May 8 (KNN) The Bank of Maharashtra ATMs (Automatic Teller Machines) are likely to be out of service between May-8 and May-10 due to ongoing upgradation.

“Bank of Maharashtra has started the upgradation activity of the ATM switch solution to meet the business as well as customer expectations apart from the value added benefits” it said.

The bank said in a press note that during this process there is a possibility of slight interruptions in the ATM services. It made a request to its customers to put up with the bank and extend their support.

The Bank of Maharashtra has ATM network of more than 1000 ATMs/CDs, the largest network of branches by any Public Sector Bank in the state. FSS is the existing service provider for deploying and maintaining the ATMs and ATM sites. In addition to this, the bank is also in the process of deploying ATMs /CDs as per the Ministry of Finance initiative across various clusters.

The Bank has also set up specialized branch offices to cater to the needs of SMEs, corporate, agriculturists and importers and exporters (KNN/ST)
