Market cap of BSE SME crosses Rs 7,400 cr mark; more gainers than losers

Mumbai, Apr 16 (KNN)  Market capitalization of BSE SME listed companies today reached Rs 7,481.82 crore in trading today with 10 gainers and 4 losers. 
 
Among the gainers were GCM Secu, Onesource Tech, Captain Poly, Tiger Logs, Newever, HPC Bioscience, Esteem Bio, Looks Health, Channel Nine and Ashapura Intimates.
 
Losers on the other hand were RCL Retail, Comfort Commotrade, Edynamics Sol and Kushal. 
 
BSE SME Platform offers an entrepreneur an investor friendly environment, which enables the listing of SMEs from the unorganized sector scattered throughout India, into a regulated and organized sector. 
 
While the number of companies listed on the BSE SME is 55, some of the other companies waiting in the wings to raise capital and get listed on the platform are – Dhanuka Commercial Limited; Sirohia and Sons Limited; and Starlit Power Systems Limited Ltd.
 
Though the number on the BSE SME has been rising, less than one third of the companies are actively traded in this bourse.   (KNN/ES)
