Market Capitalisation of BSE SME listed firms crosses Rs 7,800 crore

Among the 10 gainers were SKFL, SRG Housing Finance, Kushal, RJ Biotech; while the 15 losers included VCU Data, GCM Comm, Dhanuka Com and Anisha Impex, even as two firms remained unchanged.
Currently there are 65 firms listed on the platform with Carewell Industries Limited being the latest to list on the bourse. Among other firms waiting to be listed are Amsons Apparels, JLA Infraville Shoppers Limited, Naysaa Securities and Powerhouse Fitness and Realty Limited.
BSE commenced the SME platform on March 2012 and in over two- year period, BSE has achieved more than 90 per cent market share helping Indian SMEs create a market capitalisation of more than USD 1 billion. Average IPO size on BSE SME is close to Rs 9 crore per issue.
BSE SME Platform offers an entrepreneur an investor friendly environment, which enables the listing of SMEs from the unorganized sector scattered throughout India, into a regulated and organized sector. (KNN/ES)
