More firms trading on BSE SME platform

Mumbai, May 30 (KNN) The number of companies traded on BSE SME platform zoomed to 28 today, reflecting renewed interest of investors in the small and medium enterprises.
 
The BSE SME which has total number of 58 companies listed generally witnesses trading of 22-23 companies.
 
However, with the change of government and expectations of reform friendly decision the investors’ interest is witnessing an enthusiasm.
 
The total market capitalization of the platform was Rs 7,182.75 crore with 12 gainers, 11 losers and 5 unchanged.
 
Meanwhile, Vadodara based Bansal Roofing Private Limited has filed its DRHP document to get listed on the platform. The company manufactures products like colour coated metal sheet, roofing accessories, self-driven eco ventilator, polycarbonate corrugated sheets etc. (KNN Bureau)
