More gainers than losers on BSE SME

Mumbai, Nov 7 (KNN)  As many as 13 companies registered gains in the BSE SME platform, gaining up to 19.89 per cent, although there were seven companies that showed losses of up to (-) 5.44 per cent in trading today.

Among top gainers were – VCU DATA closing at Rs 52.15 up by 8.65 or 19.89 per cent; GCM SECU closing at Rs 298.45 up by 27.10 or 9.99 per cent; NEWEVER closing at Rs 22.40 up by 2.20 or 9.91 per cent; and Bronze Infra closing at Rs 10.55 up by 0.95 or 9.90 per cent.

Top losers were RCL Retail that traded at 32.15 down by (-) 5.44 per cent or (-) 1.85; STELLAR CAP at 17.70 down by (-) 4.84 per cent or (-) 0.90; SILINFRA at 10.30 down by (-) 4.63 per cent or (-) 0.50; and Looks HEALTH that traded at 405.00 down by (-) 3.34 per cent or (-) 14.00.

BSE Sensex continued today to slip to 20,822.77, down by 0.35 per cent or (-) 72.17, amid uncertainty owing to IIP and inflation.

The Nifty too was down 27.90 points at 6,187.25.

Both S&P BSE Midcap Index and the S&P BSE Small cap Index similarly fell in trading today.  While the Midcap traded at 6220.47, down by (-) 67.03 or (-) 1.07 per cent, Small cap traded at 6030.12, down by (-) 69.62 or (-) 1.14 per cent.   (KNN/ES)
