MSME Int'l Trade Fair 2020 kickstarts in Odisha

Bhubaneshwar, Jan 9 (KNN) Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has inaugurated the Odisha Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) International Trade Fair 2020 at the IDCO Exhibition Ground here.

Speaking on the occasion on Wednesday, Patnaik said, ‘‘the people from Odisha are known for their enterprising nature and have made name for themselves in handicrafts, textiles, food processing and information technology.''

“Odisha has been the cradle of entrepreneurship since times immemorial. The brands today known as Kalinga and Utkal have a glorious ancient past,'' he added.

He also urged entrepreneurs to take advantage of the upcoming opportunities in Odisha and set up new enterprises.

More than 350 MSMEs, including 20 entrepreneurs from Iran and 12 entrepreneurs from Bangladesh, are participating in this event.
