Only 8 out of 63 listed companies trading on BSE SME

Mumbai, Jul 28 (KNN) Only eight of 63 companies listed with the SME platform of BSE are being actively traded today until now, which is almost one eighth of the total number.

In trading today till now, there were six gainers and two losers and the market capitalization of the shares was at Rs 7,361.86 crore.

Recently, the companies which have filed draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) with BSE SME for public issue are JLA Infraville Shoppers Limited, Naysaa Securities Limites, Powerhouse Fitness and Reality Limited etc.

The BSE started the SME Platform in March 2012.  In just over 2 years, BSE has achieved more than 90 per cent market share helping Indian SMEs create a market capitalisation of more than USD 1 billion. Average IPO size on BSE SME is close to Rs 9 crore per issue. (KNN/SD)
