New Delhi, Aug 8 (KNN) The debate on the GST Constitution Amendment Bill in on in the Lok Sabha. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to speak on the Bill at around 6:00 pm here today.

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley moved the GST Constitution Amendment Bill in Lok Sabha today at 2:00 PM.

The much awaited Goods & Services Tax Bill, which is being considered as the biggest economic reform since independence, was passed by the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday last week.

The Bill was passed by Lok Sabha in 2015 and now it has to go back to the Lower House for incorporating the amendments approved by Rajya Sabha. (KNN Bureau)
