PM Modi to deliver speech at International Conference on 'Advancing Asia: Investing for the Future' starting today

New Delhi, Mar 11 (KNN) The three day International Conference on 'Advancing Asia: Investing for the Future' will begin today in the national capital.  Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver the key note address in the opening session.

The event is jointly being organized by the Ministry of Finance, Government of India and International Monetary Fund (IMF).

Christine Lagarde, Managing Director, International Monetary Fund (IMF) will also deliver her speech in the event along with Arun Jaitley, Union Minister of Finance, Corporate Affairs and Information & Broadcasting and Christine Lagarde, Managing Director, IMF will participate in a 'Ceremony for South Asia Training and Technical Assistance Center'.

Sessions would be conducted in the summit to discuss the current economic situation of  India and rest of the world. Some sessions would focus on Infrastructure Investment, Fiscal Space, and Growth: Does Asia Need More Official Financing for Investment; and Developing Asia: Challenges of Climate Change and Economic Resilience.
