Powerhouse Fitness & Realty Ltd to tap BSE SME for raising funds

The company headquartered here with presence in Surat and Jaipur through franchisees has already filed papers with market regulator, SEBI.
“Our Company operates 12 fitness centres in Mumbai and three franchisees in Santacruz (Mumbai), Surat and Jaipur. Our Gyms are state of the art facilities and provide services including gyms, steam, aerobics and diet counselling amongst others to our clients. We place emphasis on ensuring that we procure high-quality materials and equipment, enabling us to provide quality services in an attractive environment to our customers. We are further planning to open 6 new gyms in Mumbai,” said the company in its filing to the market regulator.
Currently, Powerhouse Gyms boasts approximately 9000 members in all.
The market cap of BSE SME closed at Rs 7,446.11 crore today.
With a total of 61 companies listed on the platform, only 20 companies traded actively today. There were nine advances, eight declines while three remained unchanged in trading today.
Some of the other companies waiting to be listed on the platform are – Western Agro-Tech Innovative Limited, Encash Entertainment Limited and Bansal Roofing Products Limited etc.
BSE SME Platform offers entrepreneurs an investor friendly environment, which enables the listing of SMEs from the unorganized sector scattered throughout India, into a regulated and organized sector.
BSE commenced the SME platform on March 2012 and in over two- year period, BSE has achieved more than 90 per cent market share helping Indian SMEs create a market capitalisation of more than USD 1 billion. Average IPO size on BSE SME is close to Rs 9 crore per issue. (KNN/ES)
