New Delhi, July 28 (KNN) The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), in a tweet, elaborated the steps to resolve the issues related to attaching the EDI Shipping Bills to online MEIS Applications.

“Some issues related to EDI Shipping Bill Repository have been reported by few exporters, as they were unable to attach EDI Shipping Bills to online MEIS Application,” DGFT said.

EDI shipping bills are shipping bills from EDI ports, data for which is transmitted electronically by Customs to DGFT.

DGFT has advised the users to follow two steps to resolve the issue – Clear browser history, cache and temporary internet files; and Restart System.

Meanwhile, it has said that in case the problem is not sorted even after following the mentioned steps, the exporters can send an email to dgftedi@nic.in. (KNN Bureau)
