Mumbai, Jan 28 (KNN)  Raghuvansh Agrofarms Limited today got listed on the BSE SME platform while Sanasa Tech Feb Limited has been listed on the SME Institutional Trading Platform of Exchange (SME-ITP) in the list of IP Group of Securities.

With this the total number of firms listed on the BSE SME bourse is 84 and the number listed on SME-ITP is 16, according to official data.

Raghuvansh Agrofarms Limited is broadly engaged in cultivation of organic vegetables, organic grains and cereals. The company has an integrated facility for cultivation, processing and distribution of agricultural produce and is also engaged in dairy farming and production and distribution of dairy products.

Recently it has ventured into the field of renewable energy, successfully running a Bio Gas Power Plant on pilot basis at its Kapli Farms. It is now planning to set up a 3 MCi commercial radiation processing facility for approved low and medium dose items such wheat, atta, Soya bean and spices such as coriander, chilies etc.

Sanasa Tech Feb Limited is in the business of trading of textile products.

Meanwhile, Yogya Enterprises Limited which is engaged in the business of trading and distribution of steel, copper and textiles products has filed its draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) to be listed on the BSE SME platform.

BSE commenced the SME platform on March 2012 and in nearly a three-year period, BSE has achieved more than 90 per cent market share helping Indian SMEs create a market capitalisation of more than USD 1 billion.  Average IPO size on BSE SME is close to Rs 9 crore per issue. 

BSE SME Platform offers an entrepreneur an investor friendly environment, which enables the listing of SMEs from the unorganized sector scattered throughout India, into a regulated and organized sector.  (KNN/ES)
