RBI launches 8th round of Survey on computer software & IT enabled services exports

Mumbai, Aug 28 (KNN) The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has launched the 8th round of its Survey on Computer Software and Information Technology Enabled Services (ITES) Exports.
The reference period for the Survey is 2013-14.
“Survey Schedule of the Survey for 2013-14 is required to be filled by the Software and ITES/BPO exporter companies,” RBI said in a release yesterday.
The Reserve Bank has been conducting the Survey annually since 2002-03. The survey results are used for compilation of balance of payments (BoP) statistics.
The survey collects data on various aspects of computer services exports as well as exports of Information Technology Enabled Services (ITES) and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO).
The soft form of this survey with in-built validation checks is available on the RBI website (http://www.rbi.org.in/scripts/BS_ViewForms.aspx) which can be duly filled-in, validated and emailed.
