RBI revises reference rate of rupee against US dollar and Euro

Mumbai, Mar 7 (KNN) In a recent move, The Reserve bank of India announced fixing of the reference rate for rupee at 64.9941 on March 6.

Earlier, the corresponding rate stood at 65.0530 on March 5, a statement from reserve bank informed. Also the reference rate for Euro was fixed from 80.0347 on March 5 to 80.2092 on March 6.

With regard to British Pounds, the government notified the new rate at 89.9063.

The rate for 100 yen is fixed at 61.20 from the earlier value of 61.64, the statement added.

The SDR-Rupee rate will be based on the reference rate, RBI said. (KNN/DA)
