Mumbai, Dec 8 (KNN)  Saami Tradestar Logistics Limited has filed its draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) to be listed on the BSE SME platform.

Established in 1993, the Mumbai based company is a leading third party logistics provider specializing in sensitive, time-critical freight that requires a high-degree of personal service.

Over the years, it has expanded its business module to provide integrated operations, transportation and warehousing services to corporate and individual customers at large. Today, it has a committed team of more than 1,500 logistics specialists across India with a goal to provide innovative and sustainable solutions to its customers.

The BSE SME Exchange, Bombay Stock Exchange's platform for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), is witnessing a lot more SMEs listing on the platform these days. However, active trading takes place in less than half of the companies listed.

Among others firms waiting to be listed on the bourse are Karnavati Finance Limited, Raghuvansh Agrofarms Limited, Captain Pipes Limited and O P Chains Limited, among others.

BSE commenced the SME platform on March 2012 and in over two- year period, BSE has achieved more than 90 per cent market share helping Indian SMEs create a market capitalisation of more than USD 1 billion.  Average IPO size on BSE SME is close to Rs 9 crore per issue.

BSE SME Platform offers entrepreneurs an investor friendly environment, which enables the listing of SMEs from the unorganized sector scattered throughout India, into a regulated and organized sector.  (KNN/ES)
