SBI to observe first SME Sunday tomorrow to boost financial flow

Bhubaneswar, Aug 20 (KNN) With an objective to boost the loan facilities for the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Odisha, the State Bank of India (SBI) has decided to observe three Sundays as “SME Sunday”. The first of it would be held on August 21.

The second and third SME Sunday will be observed on September 18 and October 16 respectively.

The SME Sunday is scheduled to cover all types of business activities viz. trading, manufacturing and services in the state.

On these Sundays, the bank officials will visit shops, dealers and units located within 1-2 km radius of the branch.  

During their visits, loan application forms will be provided to the borrowers and the filled up applications with KYC documents will be accepted by the officials on the spot or applicants may submit their application later on in the branch. (KNN Bureau)
