Dehradun, Dec 22 (KNN) With the view to boost exports from the region, a Seminar on International Trade is being held in the city on Wednesday under Niryat Bandhu meeting.

Industries Association of Uttarakhand (IAU) and Drug Manufacturers Association (DMA) in association with Federation of Indian Export Organisation (FIEO) and Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) are organising the seminar.

“The objective of the seminar is to apprise the participants and also to understand their issues on the various aspects of International Trade for promotion of Exports from the region,” said the organizers.

The seminar will focus on the topics such as - Lean Management in Export Manufacturing; Online Marketing; Indian Trade Portal details and FTP details if required; Ease of Doing Business for facilitating growth of Exports; and Common Facility Centre for Export Promotion.

Various experts from the industry would be deliberating on different issues in the seminar. Senior Officers from Commercial Tax Department, Vikasnagar, Herbertpur and BSNL would also be present for interaction with industries and to understand their problems and addressed them. (KNN Bureau)
