Mumbai, Sept 2 (KNN) The Sensex today closed at its lowest level since August 2014, however, the SME Exchange of BSE closed 0.39 per cent higher.

The market capitalization of BSE SME was Rs 7,283.79 crore today. Out of the 100 companies listed with the bourse, only 26 firms traded actively.

There were 12 gainers and 8 losers in today’s trade whereas 6 companies traded flat.

Meanwhile, the market capitalization of 21 companies listed with the ITP platform of BSE SME fell steeply to Rs 5,980.20 crore. (KNN Bureau)
