Sitharaman holds pre-budget consultation with industry bodies today (Watch Full Video)

New Delhi, Jan 7 (KNN) Commerce and Industries Minister Nirmala Sitharaman held a pre-budget consultation meeting with the representatives from the industry bodies today.
Improving imports, competitiveness of some sectors, increasing foreign direct investments and concerns over foreign trade agreements were some of the top issues discussed.
“We had a detailed discussion on industry. We tried to understand the situation on investments and industry’s mind on what is happening in the Indian economy and what the states and the Centre can do to improve the situation,” she told reporters after the meeting.
