SMB job postings record 60% surge YoY on professional networking platform Apna

New Delhi, Dec 27 (KNN) According to a latest report by Apna.co platform, small and medium enterprises (SMBs) witnessed a 60 per cent surge year-on-year (YoY) in their job posting.

This is majorly due to the opportunities emerging from across tier 1 and 2 cities like Delhi-NCR, Mumbai and Bengaluru, as well as from Pune, Ahmedabad and Jaipur, reported Money Control.

Overall jobs and professional network platform Apna.co saw a 25 per cent increase in its employer base, which was majorly led by SMBs and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in 2022.

Job applications in India has picked up ever since the pandemic has shown signs of weakening in the country.

As most of the companies are ramping up hiring, the current year has been one of the best for job opportunities across sectors.

In the current calendar year, employers from tier 1 and 2 cities posted more than 2.1 million jobs.

Overall, this year, more than 12 million professionals registered on the Apna.co platform, leading to a 67 per cent YoY user growth in 2022.  (KNN Bureau)
