Speaker to decide if the Budget will be postponed: Gangwar

New Delhi, Feb 1 (KNN) Union Minister for finance Santosh Gangwar today said a final call if the Budget will be postponed as a mark of respect towards the deceased member would be taken by Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan.

"Normally house is adjourned on death of sitting MP, so chances are budget can be postponed for a day, but Speaker will decide," he said.

Ahamed was the national president of the Indian Union Muslim League and MP from Malappuram, Kerala. He suffered cardiac arrest on Tuesday on the first day of the Budget session.
