Survey on foreign collaboration in Indian industry launched

Mumbai, Dec 1 (KNN)  With a view to collecting comprehensive information relating to the nature, pattern and operation of the foreign collaboration agreements, the Reserve Bank of India has launched the latest survey on foreign collaboration in Indian industry.

The apex bank has been conducting the survey on Foreign Collaboration in Indian Industry (FCS) since 1965.

“The survey collects information on the operations of the Indian companies having foreign participation/technical collaboration with foreign companies. The 10th round of survey with 2012-13 to 2013-14 as a reference period is now being launched,” an official release said.

The survey-schedule is required to be filled-in by the Indian companies having technical collaboration with foreign companies.

The soft form of this survey schedule with in-built validation checks is available on the RBI website (www.rbi.org.in –> Forms –> Survey) which can be dully filled-in and sent by email.

The Reserve Bank of India has instituted the Foreign Collaboration Survey with the objective of collecting comprehensive information relating to the nature, pattern and operation of the foreign collaboration agreements (both financial collaboration through equity participation and technical collaboration).

Information collected through the survey serves as an input for policy formulation. (KNN/ES)
