New Delhi, Nov 18 (KNN) Out of 41 companies listed on BSE SME Exchange, 24 companies traded today with 10 companies notching up gains.

The market closed with major gainer being Max Alert Sys. The company’s share increased up to 20 per cent followed by TIGER LOGS achieving 16.72 per cent increase.

The other major gainers include ATWL with 9.89 per cent hike, followed by Samruddhi Realty gaining 8.11 per cent. However, some of the companies listed here were able to make only a marginal increase in their prices. These included Ashapura Intimates gaining only 0.47 per cent and Looks Health 0.23 per cent.

The major losers of the day were RCL Retail which lost the maximum with a 9.88 per cent followed by SILINFRA and ALSL which lost 9.26 and 6.06 per cent respectively, while there were losers which lost minutely like KUSHAL whose loss was just 0.71 per cent.

The Sensex and the Nifty surged over 2.2 per cent as the Indian rupee strengthened against the US dollar. The stocks which have seen an upward move include FMCG, capital goods, banks and realty. (KNN/SN)
