Two more firms get listed with BSE SME

Mumbai, Mar 30 (KNN) Bombay Stock Exchange's (BSE's) SME platform listed two more SME firms today, after which the total number of listed companies has reached 173.

The Equity Shares of Vadodara based Maximus International Limited and Mumbai based Manas Properties Limited got listed with BSE SME platform today.

Meanwhile, Mumbai based VCU Data Management Limited migrated to main board BSE.

With this, the total number of listed companies has reached 173 out of which 25 have migrated to main board and 2 companies have been suspended from trading in the exchange.

The total amount of money raised till date in the exchange by SMEs is Rs 1,325.90 crore.

BSE SME chief had recently said that the platform will soon complete listing of 200 companies. 

"We have got a very good response on SME as in the last five years. we have now got 165 companies listed and at the end of this month, 10 more companies will be listed and another 10 firms later. So, effectively we will have 200 companies listed by June on the BSE SME platform itself," BSE SME Head Ajay Thakur had said.

Many good companies from areas like manufacturing, metals, information technology and others are coming to list on the BSE's SME platform, he added. (KNN Bureau)
