Ultracab India Limited gets listed on BSE SME

Mumbai, Oct 10 (KNN) Rajkot-based Ultracab India Limited which is engaged in manufacture and export of wires and cables is listed on the BSE SME platform, effective today.
Incorporated in 2007, the company is one of the leading manufacturers and exporters of electric wires and cables, working in this domain from more than 17 years.
Having started with PVC cables and wires, its products are now sold within the country and also exported to UK, UAE, Africa, Singapore, etc. With its manufacturing facility in Shapar (Rajkot, Gujarat), the company prides its self on quality and safety of its products.
Market capitalisation in trading today settled at Rs 7,510.76 crore with 9 gainers and 12 losers; even as 4 remained unchanged.
Among the gainers were Tarini International Limited, Looks Health Services Limited and Encash Entertainment Limited.
On the other hand losers included -GCM Capital Advisors Limited, Ace Tours World Wide Limted, and Newever Trade Wings Limited.
Other firms waiting to be listed on the bourse include – Karnavati Finance Limited, Raghuvansh Agrofarms Limited, OP Chains Limited and Aanchal Ispat Limited.
The BSE SME Exchange, Bombay Stock Exchange's platform for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), is witnessing a lot more SMEs listing on the platform these days. However, active trading takes place in less than half of the companies listed.
BSE commenced the SME platform on March 2012 and in over two- year period, BSE has achieved more than 90 per cent market share helping Indian SMEs create a market capitalisation of more than USD 1 billion. Average IPO size on BSE SME is close to Rs 9 crore per issue.
BSE SME Platform offers entrepreneurs an investor friendly environment, which enables the listing of SMEs from the unorganized sector scattered throughout India, into a regulated and organized sector. (KNN/ES)
