New Delhi, Jan 21 (KNN)  Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will present the Union Budget 2015-16 on February-28.  This will be preceded by the Railway Budget which will be presented on February-26 and the Economic Survey on February-28, media reports said.

A decision to this effect was taken by the Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs that met here today.

As far as the Budget session is concerned, it will commence on February-23 and end on May-8, media reports said.  This decision was conveyed to the President. 

During the session, the government will seek the passage of bills on six ordinances, namely coal, mines and minerals, e-rickshaws, amendment to Citizenship Act, Land Acquisition and the one on FDI in insurance sector.  (KNN Bureau)
