Web portal for start-ups to come up by next week: DIPP Secretary

New Delhi, March 4 (KNN) Taking a step towards promoting ease of doing business, Government is planning to launch a portal for start-ups where the new entrepreneurs can register themselves online.

 

Secretary in the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) Ramesh Abhishek said that in another week’s time the government would launch the portal.

In another week's time, we are going to start the start-up portal and the process of registration of start-ups also," he said here at a FICCI event today.

"We are also working with state governments to ensure that self-certification work in case of labour and skill developments laws are put in place for start-ups," Abhishek added.

Recently DIPP had come out with a notification on definition of Start-Ups.

“We have also come out with a scheme for giving IPR concessions and making it easier for Start-Ups to file IPR,” said the Secretary. (KNN Bureau)
