PM Modi to have mann-ki-baat with Unicorn founders next week

New Delhi, 2 Dec (KNN) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to meet several unicorn founders next week for a roundtable meeting.
As published in Business Standard, a unicorn founder was contact by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) informally for a meeting along with other unicorn founders, however a final date is yet to be confirmed.
It has also been reported that a unicorn founder was contacted by the Finance Ministry for a similar meeting month back.
Prime Minister Modi, in his last Man ki baat address spoke about how India is excelling in the field of startups and entrepreneurs with more than 70 start-ups having crossed the valuation of USD 1 billion, which are termed as unicorn.
He stated that this era is of startups and India is its prominent leader.
There are more than 70 unicorns in India, which means 70 start-ups have crossed the valuation of USD 1 billion.
