Ranchi Railway Station to showcase bamboo and woven products for 15 days under OSOP scheme

Ranchi, April 25 (KNN) The Ranchi Railway Station will be displaying bamboo products, woven bags and artefacts till May 8 under the 'One Station One Product Scheme’ announced in the Union Budget on February 1.
It is an exhibition cum sale centre and is the second temporary stall at Ranchi Railway Station under OSOP scheme.
The Agricultural Consultancy and Rural Development Institute launched the sale of local produce at Ranchi station under Ranchi Railway Division of South Eastern Railway (SER).
The aim is to increase local employment and promote the local product as passengers at the railway station will be able to get all the information about the particular product available and buy it easily.
Poornima Toppo, tribal woman traveller inaugurated the stall in the presence of the office bearers of the Board and representatives of the Agricultural Consultancy and Rural Development Institute. (KNN Bureau)
