Faridabad, Mar 21 (KNN) The International Surajkund Handicrafts Mela has started from March 19 and will continue till April 4 in Faridabad, Haryana. The fair is being organized after a pause of two years due to the COVID-19 crisis.

This fair is held every year in the month of February; however, the schedule was revised this year due to the coronavirus. While addressing the press conference, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar added that this time Jammu and Kashmir will be the ‘partner state’ in the 35th edition of the fair.

He stated that artists from 20 countries will be taking part in the fair, where e-ticketing will be made available this time.

As per Haryana Tourism department’s website, thousands of visitors attend the Surajkund Mela every year, as it showcases the richness and diversity of the handlooms, handicrafts, and cultural fabric of India, and is the world’s largest crafts fair.
