There is one common thing missing from all social network sites - Tracknext co-founder

New Delhi (KNN) With the social networking sites’ becoming more and more popular each day amongst business professionals, there has been an upsurge need of platforms to directly focus on business users and meeting their needs.
 
Tracknext has also joined the league of social media by providing an unusual platform for the professionals to reach out to the digital market. A short conversation with Ankit Verma, the co-founder of Tracknext provided us an in-depth view of the journey of creation of the portal.
 
Tracknext is a business social network with business owners and entrepreneurs, who enjoy the freedom to do things in their own terms; whose businesses are the extensions of their passion; who enjoy having real conversation with other business owners and customers.
 
It offers an interactive platform that lets the people connect, share and exchange ideas on an educational, professional and social level.
 
The idea to generate such significant portal emerged to Ankit Verma when he observed the other social media sites prevailing in the digital market.
 
 “I’ve seen other networking sites and found one common thing missing from all of them- business,” said Verma.
 
The entrepreneur was of the view that other social media platforms majorly focuses on promoting people not business.
 
“There was no network where start-ups can build profile and promote themselves. This gave us the logic to create a platform where we directly pitch for business.” stated Verma.
 
The social media has always been a source of insecurity to people and that some-what was the challenge while bringing up Tracknext.
 
“People ask many questions about social network, initially there were very few using the portal, there has been an increase recently,” he noted.
 
The start-up currently has a team consisting of 7 professionals, with current annual turnover being 5 lakhs. Funding has always been an obstacle for someone setting up a firm.
 
When asked about the issue, Verma responded by saying, “I had the fund already in my account which I arranged through my previous projects.”
 
Verma said he also received immense support from his family, “Be it in terms of money or be it promotions, my family has always been a major support system during my journey.”
 
The USP of Tracknext, as quoted by Verma is directly generating quality leads for business and direct promotion.
 
On being inquired upon the plans for the start-up in forthcoming years, Verma said, “We are currently planning to have an acquisition of more than 1 lakh user and are planning to release technologically advanced tools on the portal to attract more customers.”
 
The founder claims that whatever is written on Tracknext, it get optimized within 12 hours in the search engine, which no other portal offers.
 
“Everything on the portal is written in SSR (Smart Search Representation) which makes it easy for any human to read,” said Verma.
 
Giving a brief insight into the working method, Verma said, “We share our content in all defined patterns through the respective social media sites.”
 
The government support is crucial for the building of any business. In this regard, Verma said, “Government is trying to build something called small industry, but it can only fund the enterprises. As for our start-up, we come under digital marketing, the government doesn’t fund the digital market, we have spare from our own pockets.”
 
Established in December 2014, the portal has already encountered more than 40 success stories. (KNN/ Jyoti)
