Vodafone In made stunning offers to female users on account of Women’s Day

New Delhi, Mar 5 (KNN) With International Women's Day approaching, Vodafone India has taken the initiative to acknowledge and appreciate women's contribution to the organisation and society by celebrating "Pledge for Parity" week from March 7-11, making striking offers to its female users. A recent press release by the organisation revealed the news.

Suvamoy Roy, Director-Human Resources, Vodafone India said, “We are an equal opportunity employer. Our diversity journey is built on the foundation of creating an ecosystem that is attractive to women professionals and enables them to succeed at the workplace. Today, 21% of our work forces are women and it is our ambition to take it 30% in the short-term.

We are delighted to host a series of engaging initiatives to celebrate our women colleagues and their contribution to the workplace during this week.”

The organisation has made several jumpstart offerings to its women users including fashion alerts from stylist Malini Ramani, cuisine and cooking related alerts from Master Chef Sanjeev Kapoor, daily pack of jokes, diet tips, learn English alerts etc. absolutely free of cost for a one month period.

In addition to that, Vodafone has announced the release of third edition of its Women of Pure Wonder book on March 8. “The book showcases the achievements of 50 phenomenal women from rural and urban India for their vision to take the path less travelled, for their valour to redefine personal success and for their victory over personal odds and numerous social evils that plague our country to this day” the release stated.

Claiming to engage a large female workforce, the Mobile-network company has planned a series of interesting and engaging events for the internal female staff. With a global address to all employees by Vittorio Colao, CEO, Vodafone Group Plc, the company would be giving rewards and honouring the women employees for their achievements.

As a part of the drive, the company would be conducting a walk in interview for hiring female employees.
