APEDA Signs MoU with InD Events Dubai for India’s Participation at Gulfood 2027

New Delhi, Sep 17 (KNN) The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with InD Events Dubai for India’s participation at Gulfood 2027. 

The agreement was signed at Vanijya Bhawan, New Delhi, in the presence of Commerce Secretary, Government of India, Rajesh Agrawal.

The MoU was signed by Secretary, APEDA, Dr. Saswati Bose, and Vice President, Exhibitions Department and Growth for Food & Hospitality, InD, Mark Napier. India will return as the Official Partner Country at Gulfood 2027 for the second consecutive year.

Gulfood 2027 is scheduled to be held from March 15 to 19, 2027, in the UAE. The exhibition will provide a platform for Indian agricultural and processed food exporters to showcase their products and engage with international buyers.

India’s participation will bring together exporters, Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs), MSMEs, startups, commodity boards and government institutions under a unified national platform. The participation will include product showcases, B2B meetings, conferences and industry engagements.

A key focus of the participation will be on MSMEs, FPOs, startups and women- and SC/ST-led exporters from across India. The initiative will also showcase premium, branded, innovative and value-added food products along with established agricultural commodities.

Gulfood is a major international food and beverage trade exhibition held in Dubai. The 2027 edition will mark the second consecutive year in which India participates as the Official Partner Country.
