EEPC collaborates with Czech Republic SME Association to help Indian SMEs reach European industries

New Delhi, Mar 10 (KNN) In a bid to expand the consumer base of the Indian Micro, Small and medium Enterprises (MSME) in the engineering sector, the Engineering Export Promotion Council India (EEPC) recently signed an MoU with the Association of Small and medium Enterprises and Crafts of Czech republic.

The MoU was signed during the International Engineering Sourcing show (IESS) recently. The prime focus of the MoU is to exchange information pertaining to the engineering sector.

Also under the MoU, EEPC along with the Czech SME association will hold exhibitions and trade fairs to facilitate cross border trade between the industries of the two countries.

The pact is being seen crucial to the Indian SMEs entering the European market.

Other agreements listed in the MoU include technology transfer, research projects, consultancy and Research and Development (R&D) initiatives.

Commenting on the latest development, EEPC India Chairman Ravi Sehgal in a press interview said that the Indian SMEs have a lot of potential and can offer good quality products to rest of the world.  The MoU with Czech SME association is a step towards enabling global alliance and move ahead with global business.
