Global Network- Saudi Indian Business Network to join hands to boost investment, trade between two sides

Gandhinagar, Jan 9 (KNN) Global Network, an international trade advisory firm working with Corporates and MSMEs, and Saudi Indian Business Network (SIBN) will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the 8th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit.

The Summit will be held from January 10-13, 2017.

This MoU between Global Network and Saudi Indian Business Network aims promoting economic development between India and Saudi Arabia through investment, trade, education, tourism, culture, and exploring opportunities in India and Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Indian Business Network (SIBN) is a professional organization that groups together entrepreneurs, senior executives and professionals from Saudi Arabia and India.

SIBN acts as an informal interface to promote trade and commerce, business alliances, joint ventures and investments between India and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on a bilateral basis. SIBN also introduces Indian Companies to the vast opportunities that exist in the Kingdom and aids them in projecting their expertise and strengths in various disciplines for prospective alliances with business and trade organizations operating in Saudi Arabia, according to a press release.

Some of the critical objectives being targeted by this MoU between Global Network and Saudi Indian Business Network are - Sharing information and providing guidance on general economic status, taxation, investment opportunities, labour issues, trade policies and legislative changes from all the sectors between India and Saudi Arabia.

The MoU also aims creating and leading delegations from India to Saudi Arabia and vice versa for all future trade shows in which Global Network and Saudi Indian Business Network are involved, including the Expo being organized in Saudi Arabia in November 2017.

Global Network will help assist Saudi Indian Business Network with the development of Manufacturing Clusters for overall development and growth of Saudi Arabia’s economy through – training, cluster development practices, export training, establishment of consortia, and establishment of strong relations with Indian business community and Indian government, further boosting economic development of India and Saudi Arabia, said the press release.

Global Network will also help set up trade and investment desk and framework for companies requested by Saudi Indian Business Network. Framework will include relevant stakeholders’ participation such as local, regional and national government, relevant B2B meetings with businesspersons, trade and investment councils, chambers of commerce for ease of doing business.

Global Network will also assist Saudi Indian Business Network in providing technical training, market feedback and sharing information on market standards from all the sectors of India and Saudi Arabia.

The two sides will also assist each other in facilitating departmental issues related to the State and Central Governments of India and Saudi Arabia for promoting trade and investment.
