Goa govt approves 6 investments proposals worth Rs 310 crore

Panaji, Mar 1 (KNN) The Goa Investment Promotion Board (IPB) headed by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Tuesday approved 6 investment proposals worth Rs 310 crore.

The approved projects will create employment for over 2,500 people in Goa, state Industries Minister Mauvin Godinho said.

Addressing the media, the Industries minister informed that the Investment board gave approval to the Pune-based Bramhacorp Theme Park LLP to set up the park on a private land at Pernem taluka in North Goa district, close to the Manohar International Airport.

“As part of the mini-India theme park, the company plans to put on display miniature models of historical monuments and also showcase folk dances, festivals, spices, and cuisines of the country,” he said.

As per reports, an investment proposal by Kirloskar Group was amongst the projects approved on Tuesday.

The subsidiary, Karad Projects and Motors Limited, intends to start operations and create more than 1,100 jobs along the Sanquelim-Amona belt, Godinho added.  (KNN Bureau)
