Online discussion on cluster internationalisation

New Delhi, Sept 17 (KNN)  As a precursor to the second Indo-German SME Forum to be held here from September-22 to 23, an online discussion is being held on the topic – ‘Cluster Internationalisation: the challenges, gaps and opportunities.’
 
The online discussion that started from September-15 is intended to engage Indian entrepreneurs, leaders from MSME associations, service providers and other MSME stakeholders, an official release said.
 
The online discussion points will be collated, analysed and shared with speakers and participants of the Indo-German Forum.
 
On the need for such a dialogue, German SMEs are considered world beaters and may serve as a role model for Indian MSMEs too. With deepening of economic cooperation, stake holders of private sector development in both the countries have created avenues for more intensive dialogue in past few years, it said. 
 
It is to provide a platform to foster linkages between public authorities, cluster/ industry associations and other service providers from India and Germany, the ‘Indo-German SME Forum’ has been jointly conceived and organized annually by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) with the Office of DC MSME, Ministry of MSME along with institutions namely SIDBI, the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce and its knowledge partner Sequa.
