Piyush Goyal Leads India Business Delegation to Greece to Deepen Trade & Investment Ties

New Delhi, Jun 29 (KNN) Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal is leading a high-level Indian business delegation to Athens, Greece as India seeks to strengthen bilateral trade, investment and economic cooperation with Greece.

The visit follows Goyal's engagements in the UK, where industry leaders reiterated support for the proposed India–UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA).

According to the Commerce Ministry, the Greece visit is aimed at expanding commercial partnerships and advancing India's broader trade and investment engagement with key global markets.

During the visit, the Indian delegation will hold discussions with Greek industry representatives to explore cooperation in sectors such as infrastructure, digitalisation, defence, food and agriculture.

The programme also includes startup interactions aimed at promoting innovation partnerships between Indian and Greek enterprises.

The delegation will engage with business and institutional stakeholders to identify new investment opportunities and strengthen bilateral trade linkages between the two countries.
