13th Global Skills Summit to start on Sept 27 in New Delhi

New Delhi, Sept 20 (KNN) The Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) is s organizing the 13th Global Skills Summit (GSS) in New Delhi on September 27-28, 2022.

The theme for this year’s summit is Education to Employability – Making it Happen. Over 80 speakers from Industry, Government and Indian TVET ecosystem will be attending the event.

The summit will hold discussions on encouraging entrepreneurship, apprenticeship and craftsmanship. It will bring together key stakeholders to deliberate upon strategies and share best practices that helps in developing a 21st century skills ecosystem.

GSS will see participation of Industry leaders from organisations like LinkedIn, Adobe, Mahindra & Mahindra, Schneider Electric, Hindustan Unilever, Salesforce, Skillveri Metaverse & XR Simulations, Amazon, goDiscover, HoodApp and many more.

The event will take a deeper look at future steps in skilling, changing demand in the job market, existing employment opportunities in India and gainful engagement of entrepreneurs, craftsmen, and artisans.

Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister for Education, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, GoI, will inaugurate the summit.

Key persons like Atul Kumar Tiwari, Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Kundan Kumar, Adviser, Skill Development, Labour & Employment -NITI AAYOG, Nirmaljeet Singh Kalsi, IAS (Retd.), Chairman, NCVET, Ved Mani Tiwari, Chief Operating Officer at National Skill Development Corporation will also be attending the event.  (KNN Bureau)
