B-school XLRI Jamshedpur starts 2 year PGDM course focusing on entrepreneurship

New Delhi, July 25 (KNN) The Xavier School of Management XLRI Jamshedpur has launched a full-time two-year post graduate diploma programme.

It is designed to maximize experiential learning for aspiring entrepreneurs.

The launch was held at a function on its Delhi NCR campus last week.

Co-founder Mamaearth, Varun Alagh inaugurated the Post Graduate Diploma in Management in Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Venture (IEV) creation in the presence of director XLRI Jamshedpur, Fr Paul Fernandes and director XLRI Delhi-NCR Fr George Sebastian.

Calling it a momentous occasion for XLRI, the B-school said this is an important step towards a more contemporary approach to business education which XLRI aims for.

Speaking about the programme, Alagh said, “This MBA gives an unprecedented opportunity for start-up founders to take a measured step towards their own business."

“This just might be the beginning of the next big thing in entrepreneurship and in business education,” said Fernandes.

The first batch has a size of 43 and for taking part in the programme students would have to qualify through the Xavier Aptitude Test.  (KNN Bureau)
