Bundelkhand University to become centre of tourism attraction

Jhansi, Jan 4 (KNN) The Uttar Pradesh Government has announced plans to make the historic Bundelkhand University at Jhansi as an international centre of tourism attraction.
 
“The plan is to develop the university as a centre of tourism attraction for Bundelkhand and adjoining regions,” an official said.
 
Bundelkhand University is a public university based in Jhansi in Uttar Pradesh. Founded in 1975, it has professional, technical and vocational study programmes along with facilities for research.
 
To implement the plan, the Bundelkhand University wants to rope in the private sector in the public-private partnership model.
 
The University wants to convert the guest house and the annexe as the training centre for the students of Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management on profit sharing basis. (KNN Bureau)
