Department of Scientific and Industrial Research schedules virtual industry meet on Aug 10

New Delhi, Aug 8 (KNN) The Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR) in collaboration with PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry will interact with industry stakeholders on DSIR Schemes of industry interest on August 10.

It will be held virtually from 11am to 1pm with an objective is to apprise industry stakeholders about various DSIR schemes in detail and their benefits for trade and industry.

The session would provide a platform to discuss the perception of indigenous industrial research and development leading to Self-Reliant India.

Among various schemes of DSIR, the Patent Acquisition and Collaborative Research & Technology Development (PACE) will be the major area of discussion in the interactive meeting.

PACE scheme provides catalytic support to industries and institutions for development and demonstration of innovative product and process technologies, traversing the journey from proof of concept or laboratory stage to pilot stage, so that they can be launched for commercialization.
