New Delhi, Aug 3 (KNN) The Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) will be organising a ‘Chintan Shivir’ in New Delhi on August 26 to engage in discussions on issues pertaining to trade remedies.

The agenda is to talk about the issues the body faces during their investigations.

The purpose of this event is to exchange views and deliberate on certain contentious issues, and propose solutions for a way forward.

DGTR has identified five topics for discussions such as imports that are exempt from customs duties.

Rate of duty in SSR Investigations, NIP Calculation, Scope of Mid-Term Reviews, and Scope of the PUC will also be discoursed.

All those who are interested in making a presentation on any of the above topics may write an email to legal8-dgtr@supportgov.in on or before 15 August 2023, with copies marked to dd14-dgtr@gov.in and anant.swarup@nic.in.

Presenters must also prepare a power point presentation, which must be shared with the DGTR by 20 August 2023.  (KNN Bureau)
