European Roadshow 2014 - Research, Innovation and Higher Education

New Delhi, Jan 6 (KNN)  The European Union and its Member States are jointly organising information seminars throughout India for the Indian research and innovation (R&I) community about EU-India co-operation opportunities in R&I and higher education, including mobility schemes open to Indian students and researchers.

Horizon 2020, the EU's new Research and Innovation Framework Programme, has been launched in December 2013.  Like the previous Framework Programmes, Horizon 2020 will offer a broad range of collaboration opportunities to Indian researchers from the public and private sectors.  More information on Horizon 2020 can be found at http://ec.europa.eu/research/participants/portal/.

Speakers from the Delegation of the European Union to India, European Member States R&I Counsellors and representatives of their research organisations, industry, the European Research Council, Euraxess-Links India, the European Business and Technology Centre, and more, will make presentations in 16 cities across India.
The roadshow will take place around India from 9th January to 31st March 2014
