Farmer-Industry interface fair on Agro-processing to be held in Ludhiana on Oct 3

Ludhiana, Oct 1 (KNN) An industry interface fair on agro-processing and a Kisan Mela is being organised by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Central Institute of Post-Harvest Engineering & Technology (CIPHET) in Ludhiana on October 3, 2022.

“Live demonstrations of the latest technology will be organised at more than 40 stalls. Also, value-added products such as vegan dairy alternatives and gluten-free bakery products will also be displayed and sold,” said Director of ICAR-CIPHET, Nachiket Kotwaliwale, during a press meet on Friday.

During the course of the event, talks will be delivered by experts where farmers will be briefed about post-harvest technology.

The fair will be open to visitors from 10 am to 5.30 pm. It will be held at the ICAR campus in the city.

ICAR-CIPHET is a premium institute of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), which undertakes research and development to contribute to the higher profitability of agricultural production systems.  (KNN Bureau)
