Food Entrepreneur training programme

The month long course at the sprawling CED, Kukatpally campus will prepare candidates who are keen to start their own enterprise in the food processing industry. It will be offered free of charge to individuals in the age group of 18 to 40 who have a minimum qualification of SSC.
Areas that will be covered during the programme are production and marketing of bakery items, ways to avail of bank loans and other management techniques that are required to run a business enterprise.
On successful completion of the course, students will be awarded certificates of participation.
The Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CED) is an undertaking of Association of Lady Entrepreneurs of Andhra Pradesh (ALEAP) registered under Society Act in 1997.
Conceived to promote entrepreneurship in the country, ALEAP is an exclusive women’s organisation facilitating women to become employers besides being producers and contributors of national economy in a significant way.
CED helps prospective and existing entrepreneurs by imparting skills, providing information about relevant government departments and financial institutions, preparing project proposals to present to bankers, facilitating interaction with other successful entrepreneurs, organising factory visits and providing after-training support.
CED’s training includes agricultural clinics, awareness camps, entrepreneurship development, skill based programmes, environmental development programmes, export oriented programmes, faculty development programmes, etc. (KNN/ES)
