Google’s women upskilling program opens applications for fourth cohort
New Delhi, June 17 (KNN) Google’s initiative DigiPivot, an upskilling program aimed at equipping women professionals with digital marketing capabilities has opened its application window for its fourth cohort comprising of 200 participants.
The company said that this year, the program is expanding its eligibility to entry-level women professionals, whilst continuing to invite applications from early- and mid-career women professionals with up to 18 years of experience, women on a career break with up to 8 years of experience, and women entrepreneurs.
This free 22-week virtual skill development program is developed in association with Avtar and Indian School of Business.
It aims at empowering current and future women leaders as they pivot their careers to digital.
“I consider DigiPivot a powerful catalyst of change, and the impact the program has had on the careers of our 200 alumni is a testament to that. The program reflects Google’s values of building a more inclusive workforce by providing our cohorts with targeted, purpose-driven and meaningful support. While retaining our core focus of upskilling underrepresented groups in India, this edition of DigiPivot has been designed to support the journeys of as many early and mid-career professionals as we can," Madhuri Duggirala, Vice President, gTech Customer Experience, Google said in a statement.
Applications for DigiPivot 2023 are currently open and can be submitted by registering at dp.myavtar.com before the deadline of July 9, 2023. (KNN Bureau)
