Agra, Sep 18 (KNN) In order to improve energy usage which can benefit small businesses to reduce their costs and consumption, the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) is organising an awareness programme on energy management system.

The awareness programme on energy management system will be organised in Noida on September-21.

The programme will teach entrepreneurs how to minimise costs of energy and make it environment and society friendly.  Companies can learn ways to conserve resources and work towards overcoming problems that may arise owing to climate change.

Considering that the development and deployment of technologies for new energy sources like renewable sources can take time, entrepreneurs need to learn other alternative ways.

Businessmen cannot control energy prices, government policies or the global economy, but they can improve the way they manage energy.

Energy management system is a voluntary International Standard developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) to guide entrepreneurs to use energy efficiently.

It provides guidance to all organizations large and small, public and private sectors, manufacturing and services in all countries of the world.  (KNN/GUNJ)
